Biography

Chris Stevens moved to the West coast in 1981, he has recorded for some of the industries most demanding and accomplished Jingle houses, producers and Artists. Whether on Banjo, acoustic Guitar, Mandolin ,Dobro or Vocals, Chris Stevens has been a name associated with an imaginative well seasoned Bluegrass flavorist. His ability to go in to session with his ears open and instinctively produce the right punch or subtle dynamics, have kept his session, and more recently, production abilities in high demand.
Chris`instrumental ability has produced nominations ( 5 ) with the B.C.Country Music Association for "Instrumentalist of the Year",while his vocal, instrumental and co- production talents are evident in the 1998 BCCMA "Album of the Year" Weedgarden- by west coast hotshots Tumbleweed.
